Alison Jackson-Carter

I am an award winning PR and communicator who has been working across the media landscape for more than 15 years.

My passion is helping people who are brave enough to follow theirs by teaching them how to promote their business.

Every morning I jump out of bed to check the news for client coverage because I love making brands famous and I know how powerful publicity is for a business.

Promoting a business comes down to storytelling. I help find interesting stories and then support people in how to tell them.

That means I have decades of experience in media training and teaching people how to nail public speaking opportunities.

I have worked on both sides of the fence spending the first half of my career as a journalist working for Sky News, ITV’s This Morning and 5 News before moving to PR where I have consulted for some of the UKs biggest brands.

I still work for a global brand but I used lockdown as an opportunity to set up Enlighten and start supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs promote themselves.
